Chesterton House

A Center for Christian Studies at Cornell

In the beginning, Chesterton House was a resource room. That is how we got started--a desire to share the best Christian scholarship, ancient and modern, with a wider audience. Due to some significant donations of personal libraries, as well as some subsequent acquisitions, we have now have a library of approximately 2000 volumes.

Although the collection includes small sections on theology and Christian living, the emphasis is on titles situated within other disciplines--history, philosophy, psychology, sociology, education, and of course there are several shelves of good books on science and religion.

Although we do not currently have our library online, you can see the periodicals that we subscribe to here.
