Sex, Food & Knowledge: A Christian Approach to Desire

Humans are simultaneously captivated by the power of our desires and stymied by our inability to understand them. Are desires emotions or states of mind? Are they mostly conscious or subconscious? Can they be shaped and learned, or are they innate and involuntary? What does the Bible have to say about desire? And how do our answers to these questions bear on our Christian life of sex, food, knowledge, power, money, intimacy, and rest? This course explores these questions and more.
