As we continue to explore the big questions in this unique—and virtual—season, we’ve been hearing students and others in the university community ask about COVID-19’s implications on the global economy, job opportunities, student loans, and more. For our second virtual Veritas Forum we’ll be engaging questions about the economic instability of this time, particularly for students and recent graduates.
Our conversation will kick off with panelists who think a lot about these questions—Arthur Brooks (economist, cultural commentator, and professor at Harvard University), Andy Chan (head of career and innovation at Wake Forest University), and Alfa Demmellash (founder of an urban entrepreneurship collective, Rising Tide Capital, who has a keen focus on economic poverty and empowerment). The Forum will be moderated by Andrew Schuman (executive director, The Veritas Forum) and will feature audience live Q&A.
