Pre-orientation programs are designed to provide all incoming and interested first-year students and transfers the opportunity to transition from summer into the academic year in light of Christian faith.
Veritas Academy 2025 is a two-night, residential experience for incoming Cornell first-year and transfer students, held August 16-18. Led by Chesterton House staff and upperclassmen, this experience helps incoming students ask the big questions, learn practical tips, and meet other Christian students on campus – all before Cornell Orientation begins. Please join us to connect and prepare for your Cornell experience!
Chesterton House aims to provide a Christian college experience for Cornell students through our 2 acre residential campus of intentional Christian living, vibrant community life, visiting Christian scholars, academic courses aimed to integrate intellectual growth and faith, and spaces for students to grow on their path to Christ through embodied practices in community. Chesterton House exists to facilitate the discovery of the intellectual riches of the historic Christian faith, thereby empowering for faithful Christian living.
Participants will be offered early move-in for their Cornell housing so they are able to move their belongings in August 16th before joining for the program.
