Cornell Partnerships

Chesterton House is a community of Cornell-affiliated students and scholars. We exist to serve the Cornell community and the Cornell mission of ‘any person, any study.’ Toward that end, we regularly co-sponsor speakers and otherwise collaborate with both academic departments and other units at Cornell. In the past we have co-sponsored events and speaker visits with the following departments and programs:

  • Africana Studies and Research Center
  • Applied Economics and Management (Charles H. Dyson School)
  • Art History
  • Asian Studies
  • Astronomy
  • Philosophy
  • Religious Studies
  • Science and Technology Studies
  • Johnson Graduate School of Management.

We have also collaborated with the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art, and with West Campus Houses, including Bethe House, Cook House, Keeton House, and Rose House. Chesterton House also regularly co-sponsors events with Cornell United Religious Work (CURW) and other affiliate members of CURW, including the Cornell Catholic Community.

If you are interested in cosponsoring a speaker or event with Chesterton House, and/or would like to get on the itinerary of one of our visiting scholars’ schedules, please feel free to contact us at any time.
