“Poetry most often communicates emotions, not directly, but by creating imaginatively the grounds for those emotions. It therefore communicates something more than the emotion; only by means of that something more does it communicate the emotion at all.” ~ C. S. Lewis
Come join us at the Chesterton House for a very poetic night! Tea, cider, coffee, hot chocolate, and snacks will be provided; just bring yourself, your mind, your soul, your voice, and any poems you would like to read aloud. Your favorite poems are welcome, and your own poems are even more so. This is going to be an intense night; souls shall be bared, spirits shall soar, and incredible amounts of hot beverages shall be quaffed. Hope you can make it!
