What do we say to the folks today who tell us “I’m not religious–but I am quite spiritual”? We can learn much from how the Apostle Paul addressed the pagan spirituality on display in Athens.

Richard Mouw is philosopher and theologian, as well as author of several books, currently serving as president of Fuller Theological Seminary. Mouw received a B.A from Houghton College, M.A. from the University of Alberta, and his PhD from the University of Chicago. Mouw was Professor of Christian philosophy at Calvin College for seventeen years. He has also served as a visiting professor to the Free University of Amsterdam. He was appointed Professor of Christian Philosophy and Ethics at Fuller Theological Seminary in 1985, and was elected President in 1993. In 2007, Mouw was awarded the Abraham Kuyper Prize for Excellence in Reformed Theology and Public Life at Princeton Theological Seminary by the Abraham Kuyper Center for Public Theology.
