Campus Organizations

Chesterton House serves as an incubator and advisor to a number of registered student organizations.

The Cornell Claritas

Claritas is Cornell’s Journal of Christian thought, a student periodical that aims to motivate all members of the Cornell community to think about Christianity as it intersects with all aspects of life. Claritas hosts open business meetings on Tuesday afternoons, while also co-hosting with Chesterton House a conversation series with Christian faculty about faith, vocation, culture, and more. Claritas is affiliated with similar publications on other campuses through the Augustine Collective, and student editors are invited to participate in the Augustine Collective’s amazing annual retreat in January. The predecessor to Claritas was Translations Magazine. Click below to access the archive of past editions.
